It's wonderful to move in to your new home and become a part of the community. You most likely are eager to begin making changes to your front lawn. Of course. BUT, please read your Belmonte Estates Architectural Guidelines. Chances are you will need to fill out an application BEFORE you make any improvements. Contact management if you do not have the application in your closing papers. Why is this important?
Nothing is more upsetting than making changes to your property and then finding out you have to remove those changes because you didn't first get approval. Your HOA is here to help guide you and assist you in understanding the types of changes you can make as well as providing you with the information necessary to understand what changes will most likely be approved and which ones won't. Why is this necessary? Unlike most neighborhoods, Belmonte Estates is organized under the covenants of an HOA. This means the neighbors have already agreed to at closing that all homeowners will follow a set of rules. These rules are designed to protect the value of our homes and ensure that the ascetic existed when the home was purchased continues.
